1. Project Overview 프로젝트 개요

전통 건축에서 요소였던 문양들을 강조하는 게 목적이다. 연꽃, 태극, 국화 등의 문양들을 음악에 맞춰서 모션 그래픽으로 나타낸다. 해당 영상을 실제 건축물에 프로젝션해서 요소였던 문양들을 강조한다.

To emphasize the patterns which are the elements of traditional architecture is the main theme of this project. Patterns such as lotus, taegeuk and chysanthemum will be designed as a motion graphic with a music. By projecting the motion graphics film on real architecture, emphasize the patterns.

3. Research 리서치

I went to the Dongdaemun to find the traditional architecture to project the video and to find the traditional patterns. Traditional patterns were dull. However, newly painted patterns were colorful. Traditional architecture made a harmony with modern architecture I thought. (It is sad that my camera couldn't catch it because of fine dust.)

4. Tool 툴: 애프터 이펙트

I started my project with After Effect to make a motion graphics.

5. Music : 비익련리 Lovers

I made a hiphop beat with traditional instruments. However I thought it is not really fancy, I decided to choose a song which has been released officially. According to the research, many of the patterns were about reproduction. The song 비익련리 is about Lovers and reproduction. So I chose this song. Also the song is fusion of traditional music and modern music (You can hear the piano sound). I thought that matches with my project.
